Spring 2021 Degree/Certificate Application Deadline is Thursday, April 1!
Students who have completed, or are in-progress, with the last requirements for an associate degree or a certificate must file an application with the Admissions & Records office by Thursday, April 1 to be eligible to participate in our upcoming virtual commencement ceremony. More details will be coming about the ceremony within the next few weeks. Cañada College students applying for degrees and/or certificates are required to meet with a counselor to submit the degree/certificate application. Examining American Exceptionalism Through a Black Feminist Perspective. The past few years have been Dolly years. What drives our current cultural fascination--and worship--of Dolly Parton? How can we read this alongside the realities of our #BlackLivesMatter and the #MeToo movements? Is there a connection? This talk will explore these questions through the work of Black feminist scholars.
