Apply for Spring 2023 Degree and Certificate

The last day for students to apply for their Spring 2023 Degree and Certificate and be included in the Commencement program is Friday, April 7, 2023. Counseling appointments are available for students to get assistance in submitting their application. Please schedule an appointment through the Student Success Link portal or by contacting the Welcome Center at (650) 306-3452 or canadawelcomecenter@smccd.edu. We recommend that students make an appointment as soon as possible. Note: Students applying after Friday, April 7, 2023, may still participate in the Commencement ceremony, however, name will not appear in the commencement program.

 

Summer 2023 Schedule of Classes is LIVE on WebSchedule!

The Summer 2023 Session schedule of classes are live and available on WebSchedule so you can plan your summer schedule! Priority registration begins Tuesday, April 11, and general registration begins on Tuesday, April 18. Cañada College will continue to offer the Free College Enrollment Fee Waiver to all qualifying students. Priority registration for the Fall 2023 semester is on Wednesday, May 3, with general registration opening on Wednesday, May 17.

 

2023-2024 Financial Aid Application is Open

Have you filled out the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application yet? Deadline to apply for the 2022-2023 (current aid year) is June 30, 2023. Financial aid is money for college provided by U.S. taxpayers to ensure that all those who want a college education have the financial ability to pay for their college expenses.

There are a few basic types of financial aid that completing a FAFSA and California Dream Act Application will qualify you for, and these may include:

  • Fee Waivers
  • Grants (free money - you don't have to pay it back)
  • Scholarships (free money - you don't have to pay it back)  
  • Work-Study (earned money/professional experience)

How do I apply?

Submit a Financial Aid Application Appointment Request or stop the Financial Aid Office on the first floor of Building 9, or email canfinancialaid@smccd.edu, or call (650) 306-3308.
