College Mural – Invitation for Feedback
The full draft design of Cañada College’s first mural is ready for your fresh review and the campus community is invited and welcome to provide your feedback on the draft design. Please follow the embedded hyperlink for more details about our mural, including background on the design, context to how the design came together, and a specific invitation for your feedback. This community input form is open until Thursday, February 9, at 11:59 p.m.
Campus Shuttle
The Cañada College shuttle will run direct service Monday-Friday to/from Cañada and East Palo Alto through May 26, 2023. Visit canadacollege.edu/shuttle for the latest schedule updates.
Recruitment Weekdays at Cañada
The Career Center has weekly visits by employers who are hiring. Most of these visits are on campus in The Grove (cafeteria), but some are also virtual. To see a list of employers and when they will be having their sessions, visit https://canadacollege.edu/careercenter/events.php. If you are interested in speaking with any or all of the employers either come to The Grove during their scheduled time or, if they are virtual, click on the Zoom link the day and time of their event and join their room. Remember, you don't have to be looking for work to speak with them, they are more than happy to answer questions about their business.
Masking Requirement
San Mateo County’s current Community Level is LOW, and face masks are strongly recommended, but not required indoors at any SMCCCD facility except for those designated as a healthcare facility. Masks are located at various locations throughout all buildings. As the San Mateo County Community Level changes, updated information will be provided to students, employees, and visitors. To track San Mateo County’s COVID Community Level, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.
