in an AB 705 Environment and Beyond
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Building 6, Room 101/102
Please join us on March 29th for a convening of our key stakeholders in
the areas of student support that will be most impacted by AB 705
implementation. This mini-retreat will take place from 9:00am – 12:00pm in room
6-101/102 and will allow us the time and space to take an in-depth look at what
we’re currently doing to support our incoming students, and what steps we need
to take between now and end of summer to prepare for this new landscape.
Key Outcomes:
-
Gain a shared understanding of our current programs and services along
with their strengths and growth opportunities
-
Get updated on multiple measures placement for math and English courses
-
Surface our most pressing needs; how to scale up support, identify
potential gaps in support, and define our messaging to students
-
Create a framework for what an interlinked, holistic student support
approach will look like on our campus for fall 2019 and beyond
Please encourage anyone with an interest in placement/assessment,
tutoring, supplemental instruction, mentoring, retention and related areas to
attend this event.
