Astronomy to get telescope sheds
In
an effort to simplify telescope setup and to make observation nights more
accessible and frequent the Astronomy Department has been working with
architects to build a new enclosure with a concrete base, telescope mounts and
protective sheds. The enclosure may be ready to use by the fall semester of
2019, about the same time that Astronomy classes are also moving to the new
Science Building 23.
