Topics of Interest (TOI): Things to Know About Transferring to a UC in the Social Sciences

Two Cañada College alumni return to share their experiences  transferring into a UC as a Social Sciences major. Among other  topics, they will discuss what students should think about  before transferring and what students should do now as they  prepare to transfer. Speakers: Katherine Ramirez & Autumn  McMahon, Cañada Alumni

A time to sit down with TRIO staff, over a cup of coffee or tea and cookies, to catch up, check in, and get/find support. The coffee, tea, and cookies are free and all students are welcome to join.

Honors Program Site Visit

On Monday, March 18, 2019, the Canada College Honors Transfer Program will host a site visit team from the UCLA Transfer Alliance Program (UCLA-TAP). UCLA-TAP certifies select CA community college Honors Programs and provides priority transfer and scholarship opportunities to our Honors Graduates.

Study Abroad Information Session

Learn about the history of hip-hop as you visit with local artists and activists in Brazil for two weeks this summer while earning UC/CSU transferable credit. Live like a local student for a semester in Barcelona or Florence as you make progress towards your degree. Or transfer to earn your bachelor’s degree in Business in Rennes, France! Scholarships are available for eligible students. Deadlines are closing soon.
