Summer Session 2023 Registration is Open to All!
All students can now register for the Summer Session 2023! And thanks to the passage of Senate Bill 893, Cañada College will continue to waive the enrollment fees for students who reside in San Mateo County (some exceptions apply, see our Free College FAQ) for the Summer Session 2023! for the Summer Session 2023!
As with this past semester, no minimum or maximum units are required to qualify for this enrollment fee waiver during the Summer Session 2023. If you qualify, it will be automatically applied on WebSMART when registering for your courses. Additionally, depending on documented financial need, students may be exempted from paying the student body fee, student representation fee, student union fee, inclusive access fee(s), and materials fees associated with enrolled courses.

The Fall Semester 2023 priority registration date is on Wednesday, May 3, with open registration for all students open on May 17.
Fall 2023 Semester Priority Registration is Open!
Priority Registration for the Fall 2023 Semester has begun. Please note that the qualifications for the Free College enrollment fee waiver have changed for the Fall 2023 Semester. In addition to residing in San Mateo County, students must now have a stated educational goal of earning a degree or certificate to qualify.

Inaugural LGBTQ+ Commencement Sashes Now Available in the Bookstore
Our Cañada College Brave Space Collective is excited to announce that May 2023 will be the inaugural year of our college’s first LGBTQ+ Commencement sash! Are you participating in Commencement this year? Consider donning a new Progress Pride Flag sash to support the LGBTQ+ community. These beautiful new sashes are currently available at the Bookstore. Be a AANAPISI ARC Peer Mentor
Now Hiring! Be a AANAPISI ARC Peer mentor. ARC (Access, Relevance, Community) Project is a Title 3 federally-funded AANAPISI (Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution) grant. The ARC Project is a transfer pathway program to San Francisco State University and is focused on increasing access, enrollment, graduation and career-readiness for underserved Asian American, Native Pacific Islander, first-generation and low-income students. Cañada College Athletic Center is Hiring Student Ambassadors!
Are you passionate about health and fitness? If so, Cañada College Athletic Center is hiring for student Front Desk positions. We offer flexible hours to work with your class schedule. Weekday and weekend shifts are available. Join us for a fun working environment with plenty of room for growth and free access to the gym on working days. Pay starts at $19.12/hour. Requirements:
- Must be an SMCCCD student enrolled in a minimum of 6.0 units and over the age of 18.
- Leadership and customer service experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
Student Ambassadors: Students in this role are expected to work primarily at the Front Desk of Cañada College Athletic Center. They must learn and adhere to facility protocols and the guidelines set by Community Fitness. All Student Ambassadors are required to go through CPR and safety training. They are knowledgeable in their own department as well as in several others: aquatics, personal training, Group Exercise, membership, billing and so much more to be able to provide excellent customer service to a diverse population.
