Upcoming Summer & Fall Registration Dates

Summer 2025 registration for all students opens today! Priority Registration for Fall 2025 will start on April 30. To qualify for priority registration, you must have an updated Student Education Plan (SEP) on file by noon on April 25 for Fall 2025. To create or update your SEP, please schedule an Academic Counseling Appointment on the Student Success Link page. Students who meet this deadline will receive a registration appointment via email or text and can register through WebSMART starting at 7 a.m. on their assigned date. If you miss the SEP deadline, registration opens May 14 for Fall 2025. For more details and support, visit Admissions and Records' Registration page.

Thursday, April 17: No Classes & Offices Closed

This Thursday, April 17, is Flex Day. There are no classes and all Cañada offices and student services are closed. Flex Day is a day dedicated to the professional development of Cañada employees.

Celebrating AANHPI Heritage Month

Cañada College is proud to be an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI). Among our student body, 15% identify as Asian, 5% as Filipinx and 1% as Pacific Islander. Cañada’s AANHPI community reflects a rich diversity of ethnicities, cultures, identities, languages and immigration stories—contributing to the broader AANHPI population, which includes more than 45 distinct ethnic groups across the United States. Recognizing that May is a busy time with finals and end-of-year activities, Cañada College is celebrating AANHPI Heritage Month across both April and May. Be sure to check out the calendar of events, which will culminate in the AANHPI Graduation Celebration on May 13, 2025. The campus community can download AANHPI Zoom backgrounds here and AANHPI an e-signature banner here!

Run for Student Office and be a Part of ASCC!

Your student government, the Associated Students of Cañada College (ASSC), is holding their election this Spring! Officers will be elected by their classmates this April then serve their term for all of Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Packets are live on the Student Senate website  – students are encouraged to use their voice, create positive change and become the next impactful council on campus. To run, students need to plan to be enrolled in at least 5 units (Senator position), 6 units (Executive position) for the Fall 2025 - they must have at least a 2.0 GPA to run and must be prepared to make the commitment to student government (attending meetings, training and events).

Find Comfort Between the Covers — of Books and Plushies!

The Cañada Library is looking to adopt giant plushie siblings for Share Bear, the Library’s resident study companion. Click here to submit your vote before Friday, 4/18. Sponsored by The Center for Student Life and Leadership Development Vending Commission.
