Good Luck During Finals Week!

With Final Exams, we know this can be a busy and stressful time. You’ve already put in a lot of work this semester and finals are just one more step, not the whole story. Make sure you know when and where your exams are by visiting the Final Examinations Schedule page. Final grades will be available on WebSMART beginning in early January 2026. We’re glad you’re here and we’re rooting for you as you finish the semester.
 

Enroll Today for the Spring 2026 Semester

Registration is open for the Spring 2026 Semester! To create or update your Student Education Plan (SEP), book an academic counseling appointment with the Cañada Counseling Center. To register for classes, follow these three easy steps:

  1. Log onto “WebSmart
  2. Click on “Student Services”
  3. Click on “Registration” (this is where you can browse classes, register for classes, and view your registration information)
 

Senator Becker’s Virtual Town Hall on Free College – Tonight at 5 p.m.

State Senator Josh Becker will host a virtual town hall, Free College and Beyond: Investing in San Mateo County’s Future, featuring SMCCCD Chancellor Melissa Moreno and the College Presidents of Cañada College, College of San Mateo and Skyline College. Asphalt Safety Repairs on Loop Road and Lot 2/Bus Stop Temporarily Relocated: Dec. 16–19

From Tuesday, Dec. 16 to Wednesday, Dec. 17 (7 a.m.–5 p.m.), the upper section of Loop Road near Lot 2 and the Cañada Vista Residence will be closed due to asphalt repair. SamTrans will temporarily relocate the bus stop to Loop Road near Building 3 from Dec. 16–19 with temporary signage posted. Traffic will be rerouted, and the road will reopen after 5 p.m. each day. A row of parking in Lot 2 will also be blocked off for contractor use, though the rest of the lot will remain open.
 

Food & Basic Needs Support at Cañada

In partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Silicon Valley, Cañada SparkPoint offers free food every week. Pick up fresh produce, dairy, grains, meat, shelf items and snacks in the Cañada Market, located in Building 5, Room 222, Tuesdays – Thursdays from 12 – 4 p.m. Cañada SparkPoint also hosts a free public food distribution every Tuesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Parking Lot 6. In addition, students can find Study Snacks in baskets located throughout campus in student service areas as well as Grab & Go Sandwiches in Building 9, across from the Welcome Center and in Building 13, in front of Room 236. Red Cards & Undocumented Community Resources

Wallet-sized “Red Cards” that explain how to safely assert your rights during interactions with immigration enforcement are available for pickup at the Undocumented Community Center. These cards are offered in multiple languages, including Spanish, English, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian and Portuguese. These can also be printed from home here. Visit the District’s Undocumented Community Resources  or stop by the  Undocumented Community Center (Building 9, Room 118), open Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.
 

Campus Dining

Pacific Dining's last day of food service for the year will be this Thursday, December 11. Operations will resume on Monday, January 12. Below are updated operational hours for this week:

The Grove Cafe:
Mon & Tues: 7:30 am - 7 pm
Wed & Thurs: 7:30 am - 2 pm
Closed on Friday

Pony Espresso:
Mon-Thurs: 7:30 am -2 pm

Colts Cafe:
