There is Still Time to Add a Course this Semester

Students have until today, August 27, to add a semester-length class to their schedule. Please contact the instructor to get an add code for a class that has already started. Check out Open Classes on WebSchedule to see available classes. Cañada College also offers many late-start classes that are open for registration. Check out Late-Start Classes on WebSchedule to see what late-start classes are available.
 

Upcoming Financial Aid Workshops

Financial Aid Services is happy to announce upcoming Financial Aid workshops for the Fall semester. Please register on the Financial Aid Events page. All events will be held in Building 9, Room 110. Financial Aid Staff will be available to assist students in filing a 2024-2025 financial aid application, such as the FAFSA or CA Dream Act. The 2025-26 FAFSA and CA Dream Act applications are expected to open by December 1, 2024. Please remember to renew your financial aid application every year. Important: Please bring a copy of your and your parent(s) federal 1040 tax return for 2022 (if filed). COVID-19 Health Information

COVID District Policy
Do not come to campus if you feel sick, are symptomatic, or have tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID Safety Officer
Chief Facilities and Operations Officer Michele Rudovsky is the SMCCCD COVID Safety Officer.

Employee COVID Reporting
As per CalOSHA, SMCCCD continues to monitor employee COVID-positive cases. Employees will continue to report COVID-19 positives via an online form. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 (either home antigen or PCR lab test), stay home, do not come to campus, and fill out the Employee Positive-COVID Test Reporting Form.

Students and Community Members
Students and other campus community members are no longer required to report positives but must follow guidance to remain home if sick, symptomatic, or tested positive for COVID-19. See the Isolation/Exposure/Quarantine Decision Tree for when you can return to campus.
