Register for Spring Classes

All students can now enroll in classes for the Spring 2025 Semester starting on January 13! You can check the available classes on WebSchedule and complete your registration via WebSMART. If you haven't already, don't forget to  schedule a meeting with an academic counselor to create your Student Education Plan (SEP).

Cañada College is free for qualifying San Mateo County residents pursuing a degree or certificate. For more information and details on qualifications, please refer to our Free College FAQ.
 

Cañada Vice President of Student Services Forum Recordings & Feedback Forms

Cañada College is searching for a permanent Vice President of Student  Services.  You can read the full announcement here. Services. Last week, we hosted five public forums to familiarize the campus community with the candidates. Feedback forms for all candidates are live, and the deadline to submit feedback is Monday, November 25 at 5 p.m. Thank you in advance for your participation and feedback. We value your input.

 

District-wide Virtual Scholarship Workshops

The Cañada College Financial Aid Services office, in conjunction with Skyline College, will be hosting a District-wide virtual scholarship workshop today, November 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Tuesday, December 3 from 1-4 p.m. Please use the following link to RSVP for workshop access: https://bit.ly/virtualscholars2024
 

November is Deadlines Month! Transfer Application Assistance

The COLTS-U Transfer Center is continuing to offer in-person and virtual transfer application workshops throughout the month of November. This year, the final deadlines for both the UC and CSU transfer applications for Fall 2025 admissions is on Monday, December 2. We encourage students to plan on submitting their applications BEFORE the Thanksgiving Holiday! Counselors and staff are ready to assist students working on applications in Building 9, Room 106 for extended drop-in hours leading up to the December deadline. SMCCCD General Scholarship Application

SMCCCD Scholarship Applications are now open. There are changes to scholarship applications this year; most will not require a letter of reference. The deadline to apply is March 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.

Who can apply for scholarships? 

  • New/Returning/Current Cañada Students 
  • Undocumented Students 
  • International Students 
  • Incoming Fall 2025 High School Students 

If you are selected as a scholarship recipient, these scholarships will be applicable for the Fall 2025 semester. You must be enrolled in at least six units to receive the scholarship. If you transfer to a university, we will need proof of enrollment.
