February
is Black History Month and Cañada College is hosting events to honor
the rich cultural heritage, remarkable achievements and lasting
contributions of the Black community. Be sure to check the college calendar regularly, as new events will be added throughout the month. Additionally, Zoom backgrounds are available for download to join in the celebration.
Ballot Drop Boxes Open on Campuses for March 4 Special Election
There is a Special Election on Tuesday, March 4. If you are voting in the upcoming special election, you can drop your completed ballots off at any of the three colleges: Cañada College | College of San Mateo | Skyline College.SMCCCD Scholarship Application
SMCCCD Scholarship Applications are open! The deadline to apply is March 3, 2025 at 4:30 p.m.Who can apply for scholarships?
- New/Returning/Current Cañada Students
- Undocumented Students
- International Students
- Incoming Fall 2025 High School Students
If
you are selected as a scholarship recipient, these scholarships will be
applicable for the Fall 2025 semester. You must be enrolled in at least
six units to receive the scholarship. If you transfer to a university,
