Best Practices and Resources in Support of our Jewish Students During Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur

This year, Rosh Hashanah began at sunset on Monday, September 22 and ends on the evening of Yom Kippur on Wednesday. The Office of Equity has prepared a series of best practices for you to support our Jewish students, faculty, staff and administrators on campus. This special time is marked by important contemplation and practices that may change the way our campus community accesses food, water, rest and reflection. More information about the observation of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is included here. In particular, we share these best practices, resources and event(s) in support of our students and colleagues.

Celebrating AANAPISI Week

Cañada College is proud to celebrate Asian American & Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) Week from September 22–28. As part of this year’s celebration, Cañada College, College of San Mateo, Skyline College and San Francisco State will co-host the ARC Learning Institute on Friday, September 26 from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at Skyline College in the Farallon Room. Please RSVP if you are interested in attending.
