Are you planning on graduating this semester? Don’t forget to file a petition by October 31. For all degree petitions, it is advised to first meet with an Academic Counselor.To set up an appointment with an Academic Counselor to discuss a degree petition:
- Log in to your OneLogin portal
- Choose "Student Success Link"
- Go to the “My Appointments” tab
- Click on “Schedule an Appointment”
- For Appointment type, select the reason for scheduling the counseling appointment
- Select the desired counselor, time and date that best fit your availability
To complete a Certificate petition:
- Log in to WebSMART
- Click on “Student Services”
- Click on “Apply to Graduate” under Student Records

The Spring 2026 schedule is now on WebSchedule so that you can map out your next semester. Priority registration opens soon. To create or update your Student Education Plan (SEP), book an academic counseling appointment with the Cañada Counseling Center.Red Cards & Undocumented Community Resources
Wallet-sized “Red Cards” that explain how to safely assert your rights during interactions with immigration enforcement are available for pickup at the Undocumented Community Center. These cards are offered in multiple languages, including Spanish, English, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian and Portuguese. These can also be printed from home here.

Available Support Services
- Cañada College Immigration Legal Clinic: Free, confidential consultations for students and their families via phone or Zoom. Sign up for an appointment here.
- Higher Education Legal Services: Free immigration legal support for students, staff and faculty across California Community Colleges. You can sign up for an appointment here.
- Faith in Action: San Mateo County Rapid Response Line: Faith in Action is a community response line coordinated by volunteers. If you need accompaniment for immigration court, want to report that someone has been detained, or witness ICE activity in San Mateo County, call the 24/7 Rapid Response Hotline at (203) 666-4472.Trained responders are available to verify reports and connect affected individuals with urgent legal and community support. Please note: This service is separate from Cañada College and is offered as a community resource.

Final Approval of Accreditation Report
On Wednesday, November 5, Cañada’s Planning & Budgeting Council,
which serves as the Accreditation Oversight Committee for Cañada
College, will be voting on whether or not to approve the College’s Institutional Self Evaluation Report and
recommend that the President forward it to the Board of Trustees for
their approval. Any questions or suggestions about the document before

Photo Exhibit: “Timeless Machines” by Jeovanny Carlos in the Cañada Library
The
Cañada Library, located in Building 9 on the third floor, is hosting a
photo exhibit by one of its own student assistants, Jeovanny Carlos.
Timeless Machines features both black-and-white and color digital
photographs of classic cars. Stop by and check it out!
