An Exhibition of Paintings Though Observation By Anna Valdez

Mon & Wed, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Cañada College Art Gallery, Building 9, Room 152. 

Valdez is showing nine still lifes, all completed in the last two years. Painted in a manner that at times may appear simple, these works are beautiful orchestrations of objects and spaces in her studio, featuring her collection of plants, books, fabric, and works of art.

The meaning of life is one of the perennial questions in philosophy. In this panel discussion, five speakers will examine these issues and more, including atheism’s implications for finding meaning in life, pragmatic approaches to the meaning of life, and sociological perspectives on what gives meaning to human life.
