Academic Committee for Equity and Success (ACES) Equity Project Event

3CSN equity experts Arnita Porter and Paula Brown will lead a customized workshop entitled: Introduction to Designing a Cohesive, Equity-embedding Framework for Student Success (Flyer link). The presenters will discuss the importance of utilizing an Equity-embedding Framework to increase persistence, completion and student success rates.  Through guided activities, they will share strategies using principles of Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning (CRTL), Cultural Humility, and other hi-impact practices to transform course design, classroom practices, delivery of student services, and the overall campus culture. The workshop will be a springboard for future sustained community of practice around equity at Cañada College and the development of our own equity embedding framework.  Please view and RSVP herethere is a cap of 50 participants.

“The Truth Will Out” is a series of short plays, most of them comedic, with a couple of hard-hitting dramas in the mix.
