of Black History Month, Dr. Daina Berry (Associate Professor of History and
African and African Diaspora Studies at the University of Texas at Austin) will
discuss the political, social and economic significance of African Americans
historically and today. Her newest book, a "financial recapitulation of
Black bodies and souls,” will be discussed - followed by a Q&A session as
well as book signing. Sponsored by Social Scientists, Student Senate, and GE
Pathways.
