Campus Closed/Classes Canceled Until Monday

Dear Campus Community,

As you know, smoke from the fires in Butte County continues to affect the Bay Area. The Air Quality Index forecast over the next couple of days is expected to be unhealthy for everyone according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

Due to the unhealthy air quality, Cañada College, College of San Mateo and Skyline College campuses will be closed through Saturday, with classes and campus operations resuming on Monday. All classes, offices and events are closed/canceled. Classes, offices and events will resume on Monday, Nov. 19.

The health and safety of students, faculty and staff are our first priority. We look forward to seeing you on Monday, November 19 when campus will reopen.

For further air quality information:

Sincerely,
Cañada College Administration
